haven’t +ed OR didn’t

“Don’t hate him if you haven’t watched his other performances.” OR “Don’t hate him if you didn’t watch his other performances.”

Help me please

Both sentences are grammatically correct. However, the first sentence is probably better to use than the second. The reason is that the use of “have + -ed” implies that the person had many chances to watch this person’s other performances, while the second sentence implies that there was only one chance.

This is a subtle difference, but most of the time the first sentence is the best choice.
