Is almond milk dairy?

Dairy products are those that contain milk or milk products in some way. The term “milk” refers to the standard milk that we think of that comes from cows or other animals, and it derived from an animal.

Because almond milk does not actually contain any ingredients from traditional milk, it is NOT DAIRY.

The issue might be confusing because of the name, but this is misleading. Almond milk is called almond milk not because it actually has milk, or is almonds that are mixed with milk.

Instead, it is known as almond milk because of its appearance, which is often white or pale, and its consistency, which is just slightly thinner than milk. People are probably more likely to drink something called almond milk rather than something that is known as almond juice or simply almond drink.
