Is there an error in the sentence regarding usage of “into”?

Please explain the reason

  • You will be prosecuted for bringing seeds into Australia.

There is no error in this sentence. I’m not sure why it might sound weird to you, but the use of into is correct. When you are actively doing something, in this case bringing seeds, using into is the best preposition.

Even I felt that it’s absolutely correct, but a teacher in a youtube video mentioned it wrong…that’s why I was just confirming…Thank you very much…now am sure it’s correct!
