I’ve never come across the expression “do a porridge”, but it looks very similar to the British slang expression “to do (your) porridge”. In this case, porridge means a prison sentence (because porridge is a cheap and simple food, often used for feeding prison inmates).
For example, if your friend was just sent to prison you might say to them:
“Don’t worry; just keep your head down and do your porridge, and you’ll be free in no time.”
