What's the meaning of ' making due eyes ' ?

Hi Naomi,

The expression you have in mind is ‘doe eyes/ doe-eyed’, I think.
‘Does’ are female deers and have large, brown eyes. When you ‘make doe eyes’ or ‘look doe-eyed’, you open your eyes wide and look like a naive, innocent child.

  • Don’t give me that doe-eyed look, I know you’ve done something wrong.
