Please tell me which one of the following sentence is correct & why?

a:b, difference between, vs, versus

2 is correct!

It was in the past so you need selected.

 

  • You could also say because I wasn’t selected for the job

Or

  • because I didn’t get the job

If you use I wasn’t selected then you are using the passive voice because the subject of the sentence I is being acted upon.
