You work for the finance department of a company. A customer has telephoned to say that you have charged her too much for an order.

Write an email to your assistant:
– giving the customer’s name
– explaining why the customer thinks the amount is wrong
– asking her to check the invoice and get back to you

Dear Tom,

This email is concerning a telephone call I received from a customer who has been overcharged for an order.

The customer’s name is Jane Smith. Ms. Smith believes that we charged her twice for the same product. Ms. Smith states that she only ordered one product on our website and received one product upon delivery but was charged for two products.

Would you mind checking the invoice to see if Ms. Smith is correct? Please contact me as soon as you have reviewed the invoice.

Kind regards,

Karen.
