practice vs practise
While going through the difference between Practice and Practise I came across some examples and caught up in some ambiguity.
For instance a website (www(dot)educationscotland.gov.uk/knowledgeoflanguage/english/commonconfusions/practice/):

“Jane should practise sketching at home, using the pad she has been given.”
Whereas somewhere I find the other way round – “Practice Sketching”

Kindly clarify!!

PRACTICE – is a NOUN
PRACTISE – is a VERB

Examples:

I went to soccer practice yesterday.
I need to practise German more.

BUT:

American English uses practice for both noun and verb
British English only uses practice for noun, and practise for verb.
