Question:

hello sir,
we say: ‘I have A cold’

But we can’t count cold so why we use ‘a’?
What do we mean by this kind of ‘a’?

Answer:

Cold in this context means flu. That is why you put an A before it.

It’s not a temperature cold.

Hope this helps!
