How can I do some things better in my life?

is it a question of grammar or just a question ?

How can I do somethings are going to make my life better?

I wish I knew :D. I’m not someone you would call successful, but when I’m trying to  improve what I do having a clear goal helps me out a lot. Try writing out what your goals are to motivate you whenever you feel you’re about to give up. Good luck!

If you are looking for a single thing that you can do to “become successful”, unfortunately you will be looking for a long time. Success, because it is so vague, is different for every person.

Actually, being successful is not something that is only available to a select group of people. To be successful takes some simple habits. People who are successful do these things every day, and people who are not usually avoid them.

  • Define what success means.

A lot of times people end up chasing things that are not easily measured, or things that do not actually measure how successful you are. For example, if you consider success to be happiness, how do you measure that? You cannot just say, “I want to be happy” because being happy at age 20 and at age 50 are very different things.

If you focus on earning money, that can make you successful in the eyes of other people, but may not actually mean you are successful. There are many people who will stay at a terrible job because they are making good money, even though they hate their coworkers or their boss. Is that success? Most likely not.

To help with you definition, ask yourself: What would your perfect day look like if money and time were not an issue? What do you always say you want to do but never do? What are you most serious about? What do you always try to do and then regret when you don’t?

  • Pick a single target at first, and then branch out.

When you start something, you are most likely not going to be very good at it. It takes time to overcome the challenges of starting out; this is especially true if you are tackling a huge problem. If you break down your goal into smaller parts, you can work on one thing at a time.

This not only helps you progress faster, but you can also be more motivated because you see your own progress. Once you have mastered one thing, it then becomes easier to include other targets and manage them at the same time.

  • Set a routine, and then never break from it.

Because of the hard work it takes to build a skill or to work towards real success, you need to put in a lot of time. Most of the time, people get discouraged and then give up. They start to move to the next thing because they do not believe they can succeed – that is why sometimes 90% of small businesses fail.

Instead, it is important to keep working at it. The best way to do that is to work on the goal every day, and sometimes even at the same time and place.

If you know that being in a certain place at a certain time means it is time to work on your goal, you are much more likely to actually get something done. And, if you never let yourself miss a day, you will end up with a huge amount of work at the end of a week, a month, and especially a year.

In statistics, there is something known as the law of large numbers. This is a rule that says that, the larger the number of something, the more likely there will be something good in that group.

For college professors, for example, the ones with the most number of papers are also the ones who have the most paper citations. They are more likely to become leaders in their fields, simply because they have produced a large amount of work.

If 1% of research papers that professors publish become crucial to their fields, then someone who writes 1,000 papers is much more likely to have a leading paper than someone who only writes 100.

  • Tell other people what you are doing.

No one can achieve success alone. If you are the only one that knows what you are trying to achieve, chances are that you will not hold yourself accountable.

If you are extremely tired one day, you may just let yourself go to sleep without working on that thing. If you do not tell someone, it is also very easy to give up when you meet a challenge, especially if you are not sure how to solve it. Instead, talk to someone!

It can be a spouse, a good friends, a mentor, or someone that you pay to check in on you. Even if they do not understand specifically what you are going through, they can support you and might be able to point you to someone who can.

You also just never know when someone can help you out, and most people are happy to hear about what you are doing anyway!

All in all, success takes time. If you are patient and work hard on the right things, you can build your skills. Use those skills to do what you want to! Good luck!
