Position – is a specific point. It cannot refer to an area. It is a place where someone or something is in relation to other people or things
The position of the car has been identified.
Location – is a particular point or place in physical space. It’s used in geography to describe a specific point.
The location of my house is at 369 Green Street.
Place – is a particular area with indefinable boarders. It’s a physical description of the structure of the area.
– What is your favorite place to relax?
– I enjoy relaxing by the mountains.
Site – is an area where a town, statue or a building is constructed.
The construction site for the President’s statue is closed to public.
Situation – is a physical position in relation to the surroundings
The situation of the city is very pleasant.
I know this can be quite confusing, and hard to explain in words. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask. 🙂

If I want to say the perfect place to build the house of your dreams would be: the perfect site to build the house of your dreams? Because I don’t want to use the word location to avoid repetitions.
