  • Myocardial – refers to the muscular tissue of the heart.

It can also be used in the middle of words, such as;

  • Cardiomyopathy – this refers to a condition in which the heart muscle thickens.
  • Leiomyoma – this refers to a benign muscular tumor.
  • Polymyositis – this is the name for an inflammatory muscular disease.
