Smash” bedeutet auf Deutsch “zerstören“, “zertrümmern” oder “einschlagen“. Es kann sich auf eine körperliche Handlung beziehen, bei der etwas kräftig gegen etwas anderes geschlagen oder geworfen wird, so dass es zerbricht oder zerstört wird. Es kann aber auch im übertragenen Sinne verwendet werden, um etwas sehr gut zu machen, besonders wenn es um künstlerische oder sportliche Leistungen geht.

  • “Er hat den Ball mit voller Wucht ins Tor geschlagen/smashed
  • “Sie hat die Konkurrenz bei dem Wettbewerb komplett geschlagen/smashed“.
