Dear Anastasia, are there any other phrases similar to “Who dare wins” and “Fortune favours the brave” with the same meaning. For example, in Russian they say something like “The one who doesn’t take risks, doesn’t drink champagne”

“Who dares wins” and “Fortune favors the brave” can both be used to say courageous actions are rewarded. The following variations are also used:

  • Fortune favors the bold.
  • Fortune smiles on the brave, and frowns upon the coward.

I think the following proverb is quite similar in meaning too:

  • No pain, no gain. (Meaning you have to be brave and endure the pain if you want to succeed.)

And, finally, when the “reward” is the love of a beautiful woman, this proverb may be used:

  • None but the brave deserve the fair.
