Use of Any in passive voice

You can use any in passive voice the way that you would use it in active voice.

Passive voice is just when the object of the action (the person or thing that the action is happening to) is listed in the sentence before the verb. The actual actor may or may not be listed in the sentence.

However, it is often awkward to have “any” in a passive voice sentence because the action has already happened. You can still have it though!

An example of a passive voice sentence with any is this:

  • Any of the groups were listed there.
