Which one is correct?
a) My dog is have black eyes.
b) My dog is has black eyes.

 
The correct sentence is ‘My dog has black eyes.
 
In the examples above a) and b) the verb ‘to be’ is used together with the verb ‘to have’ – this is INCORRECT!
 
 
How to use the verb ‘to be’:
 
Present Tense of ‘to be’
 
I am
You are
He/She/It is
We are
They are
 
Examples:
 
You are a good student.
Are you a good student?
Yes, I am/No, I’m not.
 
She is an engineer.

Is she an engineer?

Yes, she is/No, she isn’t.
 
Past Tense of ‘to be’
 
I was
You were
He/She/It was
We were
They were
 
Examples:
 
They were very old friends.
Were they very old friends?
Yes, they were/No, they weren’t.
 
I was a little chubby in school.
Were you a little chubby in school?
Yes, I was/No, I wasn’t.
