Yosemite National Park is one of the most well known national parks in the United States.
It is located in California, on the west coast of the US. Specifically, it is just over 3,000 km2 in the Tuolumne, Mariposa and Madera counties in Northern California.
Part of its beauty comes from the Sierra Nevada mountain range that runs on its west side.
