The right answer is:

There’re only a few people, aren’t there?

It’s always the opposite:
If the sentence is POSITIVE, you use aren’t (negative), and if the sentence is Negative, you us are they?

The same goes for isn’t he/is he?

For example,

  • They are very good friends, aren’t they?
  • They aren’t very good friends, are they?
  • He is an excellent driver, isn’t he?
  • She isn’t a great dancer, is she?
